Ernst Engineering performed a floodway study for Weld County Floodplain Administration review and approval using HEC-RAS for a 256 acre parcel of land along the South Platte River to delineate the 100-year floodway encroachment and the 100-year floodplain delineation.
Ernst Engineering successfully obtained a special flood hazard use permit (SFHA) for development in the 100-year floodplain through the Weld County entitlement process for the client.
